Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Waivd collects, how it is used, and the choices available to users. It reflects the product as it currently operates, including account login, Sleeper account connections, premium access, and optional bug-report submissions.

1. Information we collect
Waivd currently collects information in a few categories:
- Account information, such as your email address, password hash, account role, and account status.
- Security information, such as session records, two-factor authentication status, and related security secrets where enabled.
- Sleeper connection data, such as your Sleeper username, Sleeper user ID, synced league memberships, team names, roster identifiers, and sync timestamps.
- League and commissioner data needed to power product features, including dues tracking entries, payout structures, league pages, and connected league details.
- Billing and access data, such as your subscription tier, subscription status, subscription end date, and related payment-provider identifiers.
- Support and operations data, such as bug reports you submit, the page you were on when the report was created, and internal admin notes or moderation records where applicable.
2. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you create an account, connect a platform, change profile settings, submit league content, configure commissioner workflows, or report a bug. We also collect data from third-party fantasy platforms that you choose to connect, currently including Sleeper.
3. How we use information
We use collected information to operate and improve Waivd, including to:
- create and secure user accounts;
- sync leagues and display connected fantasy football data;
- determine feature access based on free or paid plan status;
- support commissioner tools such as dues tracking, lineup alerts, and league pages;
- investigate bugs, abuse, fraud, and platform misuse;
- maintain internal admin and moderation workflows;
- communicate essential account or billing updates when necessary.
4. Public and shared information
Some information may become visible to other people when you intentionally publish it through Waivd. This includes content on public league pages, such as league descriptions, dues information, payout structures, and payment links that you choose to display. You should avoid publishing personal information that you do not want others to see.
5. Cookies and session data
Waivd uses cookies and similar session mechanisms to keep users signed in, support secure account access, remember security flows, and maintain product functionality. These cookies are used for operation of the service rather than for third-party advertising.
6. Sharing of information
Waivd does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, process payments, host infrastructure, respond to legal obligations, enforce platform rules, or protect the rights, safety, and security of the product and its users.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain account access, preserve platform integrity, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Some records may be retained after account closure where necessary for security, fraud prevention, bookkeeping, or legal compliance.
8. Your choices
You may be able to:
- update your account email inside the product;
- disconnect your Sleeper connection;
- enable or disable certain security settings such as two-factor authentication;
- manage or cancel paid access through the billing method made available for your account.
9. Children's privacy
Waivd is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version posted on this page will control unless a later effective date is stated.
